The common definition is\u00a0\u00a0<span class=\"nowrap\">G\u00a0= (V,\u00a0E)\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0where V representes the set of vertices and E represents the edges between two vertices.<\/p>\n<p>Commercially, there are two specific types of graph data models: Property Graph and RDF Graph. \u00a0A property graph is a graph where key-value pairs can be associated to vertices and edges. An RDF graph is a represented as a set of triples: subject, predicate, object where the subject and object are vertices and a predicate is an edge.<\/p>\n<p>However, it seems that\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/jimwebber.org\/\">Jim Webber<\/a>, Neo4J&#8217;s Chief Scientist does not acknowledge that RDF graphs are graphs:<\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/twitter.com\/jimwebber\/status\/883327227726790657<\/p>\n<p>My response and Jim&#8217;s follow up response:<\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/twitter.com\/jimwebber\/status\/883362875267592195<\/p>\n<p>and my response:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"525\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Triples is a representation of a graph.
